The medical student conference is one of the most formative and transformational opportunities we offer. Students participate in learning opportunities and hands-on exercises in their individual disciplines, enjoy Q&As with professionals, hear the truth of the Gospel of Jesus and other plenary talks on various spiritual topics by Christian doctors, and engage in worship. All meals are provided and students lodge in hotel rooms. These students will shape the future of healthcare and thus, Albania as a whole as the up-and-coming generation of medical professionals. Students pay only a nominal fee to attend, while AHF pays $40,000 annually to run the conference. Attendance has been restricted, due to lack of space and associated costs. Now in its third decade of existence, the conference needs greater space. Approximately 300 Albanian medical students are turned away every year. Our goal is to obtain a larger facility in order to accommodate more students who will be challenged and encouraged in their professions and learn how to approach healthcare through a Biblical lens.

2. ENLARGE THE ALBANIAN HEALTH FUND LIBRARY
The Albanian Health Fund (AHF) Library serves as a hub of knowledge and resources for students and medical professionals. The library is currently housed on the first floor but has outgrown the space. There is now an exciting and providential opportunity for the AHF to purchase the second and third floors in order to greatly expand the library. It’s reasonable to wonder why the AHF would not seek instead to build an entirely new building to house the library, but it’s currently in a prime location. The library is within walking distance of both the university and the hospital, making it convenient and accessible for students and professionals alike. Maintaining the current location with expansion and renovation is the best option for library users and opens doors of opportunity for future group studies, greater resource accumulation, and ultimately the furtherance of the Gospel and education through a Christian worldview.
Raise $200,000+ to renovate an additional floor OR $1 million to purchase the entire building in order to expand the library.
Once funds are raised, allot $60,000 – $100,000 to cover the costs of operations and additional staff.

Library Expansion Details
This fundraising effort will transform the Albanian Medical Library into a cutting-edge hub for medical learning and Christian mentorship. Funds will go toward:
- Technology Upgrades– Expanding digital access to medical journals, online training modules, and telemedicine resources for students across Albania.
- Books & Resources– Adding thousands of new textbooks, case studies, and Christian medical ethics literature, ensuring students have faith-informed academic materials.
- Classrooms & Conference Rooms– Providing dedicated spaces for medical training, mentorship, and small-group discipleship, equipping future doctors and nurses with both clinical and spiritual wisdom.
- Operations & Staff– Funding librarians, mentors, and guest lecturers who will teach, guide, and disciple students for years to come.
- Research & Innovation – Supporting faith-based medical research initiatives, allowing Albanian students to contribute to global medical conversations through a Christian lens.
Every dollar invested in the library expansion ensures sustainability, excellence, and the integration of faith and medicine for generations of Albanian healthcare professionals.

3. ADVANCE ILLYRICUM MOVEMENT
The heartbeat of The Illyricum Movement is to plant and establish healthy, thriving churches in Albania and beyond. Established in 2012 by Albanian indigenous believers, the group has facilitated eight church plants in Albania, Kosovo, and Mongolia, all led by first-generation Christians. In addition to church planting, The Illyricum Movement oversees evangelistic projects such as online English classes, online international teenager connections, evangelistic rural projects, and mission trips in the west. It also is in the process of developing the International Biblical Training Center (IBTC) in Albania to equip Christian church leaders and their families from remote Muslim regions.
This new center will provide essential Biblical training, vocational skills, and homeschooling support, and address challenges attendees face in their home countries, including persecution and limited job opportunities. The center will accommodate 40 families, enhancing their capacity to return and strengthen their communities. Currently, smaller cohorts are being trained in rented facilities until the new center is completed. Your support is crucial for making this transformative initiative a reality.
$1 million is needed to complete the center’s construction. This does not include the cost of operations.
